## scouting, 2018–2511 entries

Seven years in scouting, ending at Eagle*. As senior patrol leader I ran a troop of 40 scouts: weekly meetings, monthly campouts, leadership councils, and regular community and conservation service. As quartermaster I managed the troop's gear. I spent summers on camp staff teaching engineering, programming, aviation, and space exploration to about 250 kids a season.
